Cocoa Beach Rocks

Have you ever been strolling through the city and come across a beautifully painted rock? That means you’ve been rocked!

We’re not sure how long ago the movement started but it’s been gaining popularity the past few weeks. Residents and visitors have been finding rocks all around the city – from beachside, to poolside to even inside stores and restaurants!

The Public Group on Facebook Cocoa Beach Rocks has just about 200 members who share their finds and creations. It’s a fun and creative happening that represents just how cool and unique our beach town is.

Whether you’re 99 weeks or 99 years old, you’ll love to rock. So get out there and Rock Cocoa Beach!

Want to rock? Here are the rules:

  1. Do not hide rocks in Michaels or Hobby Lobby Craft Stores (or anywhere that sells painted rocks)
  2. Do not paint or disperse rocks with any negative or derogatory remarks.
  3. If you find a rock that is inappropriately decorated, please do not post pictures, share comments about it or otherwise bring attention to it. Let the negativity die with you. Paint over it and move on anonymously.
  4. No buying or selling rocks in the Cocoa Beach Rocks group – Do not post or comment on someone’s post requesting to buy or commission a painted rock from another group member
  5. HAVE FUN AND SPREAD JOY!
